Big X and missing effects

Hello, I have a problem with one of the templates. I recently started using After Effects and I saw the PeoplesTemplate thing, and downloaded it. After loading it into After Effects (Cs5), there is like a green X (thin) stretching across the entire composition. It\'s kind of annoying, and I don\'t know how to remove it. I saw in the tutorial video and it did not have the \'green X\' thing. How would I be able to remove it?

The reason of the big X is a plugin effect, the Cycore Effects Suit
On CS5 the Cicore effects are included but only in the full version, so if a user downloads the trial version of After Effects, the Cycore plugins will show up as missing.
When the serial number is being entered, the cycore effects get automatically installed and everything works.
So this means that you should not need to download separately the cycore effects to make it work.
Maybe if you reinstall after effects the green X disapears, it could be an error.
